Marc Trost
Marc is a partner at Malesys & Trost CPA LLC, and specializes mostly on Tax, Advisory and Transaction Services. Marc started his career in Luxembourg and then joined PricewaterhouseCoopers Paris before relocating to the US in 2012.
Marc has a deep experience in assisting French groups in their developments in the US. Among the services, Marc has a comprehensive knowledge of the tax accounting complexities in an international environment as well as advisory and transaction services.
Marc’ areas of expertise range from Manufacturing, Technology, Franchise and Services to Retail and Wholesale as well as Pharma. He has served those clients in these sectors for a cumulative total of almost 20 years. He takes a client-focused approach and has the technical skills, knowledge and ideas to provide value to clients in these sectors.
Marc’s expertise brings an understanding and a capacity to anticipate the expectations of the management locally and at group level. He works closely with his clients to deliver a customized service responding to his exact needs.

Certified Public Accountant, with a license in GA and DC.
Chartered accountant in France.
Graduated in tax in business law (Master Aix-Marseille University) and MSC in accounting and finance (University of Strasbourg).
Thomas Malesys
Thomas is a partner at Malesys & Trost CPA, and specializes mostly on audit and assurance services as well as on financial due diligences services. Thomas is based in New York, and before joining Malesys & Trost CPA, he was for more than 30 years with Deloitte (and 20 as a partner).
Thomas has considerable experience delivering a range of audit services in accordance with domestic and international accounting principles, and specializes in international audits, including financial, standalone, statutory, and component audits. He has comprehensive knowledge of French audits and is a regular participant in cross-border audit teams. Thomas also has extensive experience conducting specified audit procedures and reviews. Thomas is also an IFRS expert (Deloitte certification).
Thomas’ audit clients are mostly from the consumer products, technology, media, telecom, and life sciences sectors operating internationally. He has led and participated in a variety of audit engagements in these sectors for a cumulative total of over 30 years. He takes a client-focused approach and has the technical skills, knowledge and ideas to provide value to clients in these sectors.

Chartered accountant and statutory auditor in France.
Graduated in tax in business law (PhD of the University of Paris 2 - Assas) and MSC in accounting and finance (University of Paris- Dauphine).
